Mountain Goat
In 2010, the US Mint launched the "America the Beautiful" quarters program. Five quarters will be issued each year through 2020 (and one in 2021), for a total of 56 different designs. Each quarter will depict a national park or site from each of the 50 states, the federal district, and each territory).
Montana honours Glacier National Park with their quarter and my favourite mountain-dwelling even-toed ungulate, the Mountain Goat (aka Rocky Mountain Goat, aka Oreamnos americanus). In the distance is the north-east slope of Mount Reynolds.
