Giant Eland
The three Giant Elands shown here appear on several different coins from the Central African region. In this case, the coin was issued by the Bank of Central African States on behalf of Chad. A nearly identical 100 franc "Republique du Tchad" coin was issued in 1971 and 1972 by the Central Bank of Equatorial African States and Cameroon (KM2).
This coin was minted intermittently from 1975 to 1991.
