The Royal Mint's 2016 series of circulating commemorative coins to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter was so popular that they followed up in 2017 with an additional four circulating coins, then they did it again in 2019 with another four coins.
There were 1.4 million Peter Rabbit 3rd series coins minted (and this may be the final batch featured on the Coin Zoo).
