Poland 20000-ZLOTYCH (Y243)

Barn Swallows

The Barn swallow is the most widespread species of swallow in the world. They usually build their nests inside man-made structures -- like barns (surprise), and also under bridges and such -- using mud pellets and grass.

This circulating commemorative coin was minted one year only. It is from near the end of the 3rd Zloty period. In 1995, the introduction of the 4th zloty will remove all the extra zeroes.
