Mexico 50-CENTAVOS (KM451) Northern Caracara

Between 1905 and 1983, Mexico issued nine different 50-centavos coins. The first five were silver, each getting progressively smaller. Those were followed by a large bronze coin (KM450, 1955-1959) then this copper-nickel issue (1964-1969).

In 1970, this coin was replaced by KM452 with a stylized version of the eagle eating snake.
