Pegasus

Pegasus is the winged white stallion of Greek Mythology. He is the son of Poseidon (God of the sea, earthquakes, and horses) and Medusa (once beautiful but turned to a monster for making out with Poseidon in Athena's temple). You can read about the legend of Pegasus here.
