Lithuania 2-EURO CENT (KM206)

Horse

Lithuania joined the European Union in 2002, and adopted the Euro on January 1, 2015. Their first set of Euro coins maintains their identity with the image of Vytis -- the White Knight -- on horseback.

I don't understand the logic of having a 2ยข coin (or worse, a one cent). Other countries are ditching small denominations that cost more to mint than they are worth.
