Lithuania 1-EURO (KM211) Horse

Lithuania joined the European Union in 2002, and adopted the Euro on January 1, 2015. Their first set of Euro coins maintains their identity with the image of Vytis -- the White Knight -- on horseback.

Because all 1 euro coins are  bimetallic with a copper-nickel centre in a nickel-brass ring, that gives us a silver horse with golden hooves (and socks).

  • Diameter: 23.1 mm
  • Composition: Copper-nickel-clad nickel in Nickel-brass ring
  • CAT#: KM211
