Somalia 5-SHILLINGS (KM15)

Cow, Goat, Sheep

This huge coin may not have actually circulated, but since it is an FAO issue, I am including it in the Coin Zoo. The FAO was established in 1945 at the first conference in Quebec City, Canada. This coin, issued in 1970, commemorates the second conference in Somalia.

The coin features three domestic farm animals in Somalia: The Somali Goat, Somali Sheep (aka Berbera Blackhead), and some breed of Zebu cattle, likely a Boran.
