Another image from Italian sculptor Luciano Minguzzi (1911-2004), whose work appears on several 1974 San Marino coins. The style of this pigeon couple is very "Minguzzi".
The edge inscription is Latin for "I leave you free."
This coin was issued only for the 1974 mint sets, of which there were 276,000.
