In 2014, Poland started the "Discover Poland" series of circulating commemorative 5-zlotych coins. The 2017 issue features the Holy Trinity Chapel at Lublin Castle, and an image of a king on horseback.
The chapel dates back to the early 14th century, and in the early 15th century a series of frescoes were completed, including two portraits of King Władysław II Jagiełło (1386-1434) who was the patron of the project. (I am assuming that is him on the coin.) In the early 19th century, the painting were plastered over, because I guess they just thought it was some faded old stuff. They were rediscovered in 1897.
