Armenia
The Republic Armenia is a former Soviet republic, in the mountainous Caucasus region of Western Asia.
It is one of the earliest Christian civilizations, but the area's history dates back to the 6th century BCE and the Kingdom of Armenia reached its height in the first century BCE. The present day Republic of Aremenia occupies only about 10% of the area of historic Armenia.
