Papua New Guinea 1-KINA (KM6) Crocodile
Although they look the same size on this coin, they are not. The smaller one is the New Guinea crocodile (Crocodylus novaguinae), with males growing up to 3.5 m in length.
The other one is the Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), the largest living reptile on earth. Mature males typically measure 4 to 5.5 metres long and weigh 600 to 1,000 kg, although they can reach sizes of 6 metres or greater (that's 20 feet), and over 1,300 kilograms (almost 1.5 tons). Holy croc!
