Ganesha

That's Ganesha on the reverse, and he has the head of an elephant, so of course there is a place for him in the Coin Zoo. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences, and the deity of intellect and wisdom.

This coin was issued in 2011 (2554 on the Thai calendar) to commemorate the centenary of the Ministry of Culture's Fine Arts Department.
