Glass frogs (aka glassfrogs) are a number of different species in the family Centrolenidae (order Anura). While primarily lime-green in colour, some (most?) members of the glass frog family have translucent skin, making their guts visible.
There are something like 50 different species of glass frogs in Colombia, with many other species elsewhere in South America and Central America.
All coin images in Daniel's Coin Zoo are from my personal collection. I collect, research, and personally photograph every coin displayed on this site. PLEASE do not take my images without permission. If you would like to use any coin image you see, just ask me. Thank you.
