There are many ways to get around the coin zoo. If you just want to browse, go ahead and wander aimlessly! If you are looking for something more specific, or want a structured approach, the guide below will give you some tips.

EXPLORE BY AREA
The "Select AREA..." menu on the left allows you to select ten major areas of the world. Once you have selected an area, you will see a list of countries and their flags. Just click the country name or the flag image to jump to that country and its coins. The best way to return after exploring a country is by clicking the area name in the country info box, or on any coin in the list.

EXPLORE BY COUNTRY
If you are looking for a specific country, you may use the "Select COUNTRY..." menu on the left. This menu will eventually grow to over 130 countries. Just click on it and type the first letter or two of the country name to jump down the list.

EXPLORE BY ANIMAL CLASS
Selecting one of  the ten animal classes from the  menu on the left will give you a listing of all animal coins within that class.  Some, such as Echinoderms are short lists. Others, such as Mammals and Birds will be quite long.

SEARCH THE COIN ZOO
Finally,  you can conduct specific searches. The  "Search for COINS" box allows you to search within the collection. You may narrow the search down using the animal class drop down menu. Click on the Advanced Search link if you want to get really fancy. The other search box at the top of the page is for searching the entire site, including articles. Coin results from this search do not include thumbnails.
