The latest country to join the zoo is the United States of America.

Over the years, the number one question I have been asked is why I don't have any coins from the USA. The answer was that I do have coins from the US, I just haven't gotten around to adding them to the zoo yet.

And it's been a long time coming, considing the multi-year break I took from working on the Coin Zoo. (It's easier now that I am temporarily unemployed -- you have to take the good with the bad!)

I was working through the countries in alphabetical order, although in the beginning I jumped around a bit, which explains why countries like Zimbabwe and Zambia have been represented at the Coin Zoo for many years.
