China 10-CASH (Y20r)

Chinese Dragon

This piece is from the reign of Xuantong Emperor, the last emperor of Imperial China (1908-1912). This coin (Y#20) was minted in 1909 and 1911. There are 20 different 1909 versions, and the dealer I acquired this example from identified this as Y#20r, so I am going with that.

This is one of many many Chinese dragons that appear on Imperial China's coinage.
