Uganda 5-SHILLINGS (KM7) Ankole-Watusi Cow & calf

The Ankole-Watusi is a breed of cattle native to Africa. They have huge, distinctive horns that can grow up to 1.8 m long. Their ability to survive on limited food and water has ensured centuries of survival in Africa.

Ankole is also the name of one of the four traditional kingdoms of Uganda.

This very large FAO coin was issued one year only.
