Eight years after Somiland issued a single 1-shilling coin, they issued a 5-, 10-, and 20-shilling set, all with animals on the obverse.
This 20 shilling coin is the same size and colour as the 5 shilling coin, which is unusual. However, it is quite a bit heavier, as it is stainless steel compared to aluminum for the 5-shilling. I have no idea why there is Greyhound dog on this coin.
All coin images in Daniel's Coin Zoo are from my personal collection. I collect, research, and personally photograph every coin displayed on this site. PLEASE do not take my images without permission. If you would like to use any coin image you see, just ask me. Thank you.
