Angora Goat

Angora goats are a domestic goat breed that is first mentioned around 1,500 BCE. They were brought to Europe 3,000 years after that and 350 years later (we're in the mid-19th century now) they were introduced to South Africa, who remains a top producer of mohair from the goat's silky fleece.
